Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn offers small-scale living, day activities, and 24-hour care to children and young adults with a (multiple) intellectual disability. The estate is located in the Betuwe region, between the villages of Heesselt and Varik, and offers residents a peaceful, green living environment with their own studio apartments. Bloemfonteijn was founded by Rian and Monique Verwoert, who also live on the estate themselves. This commitment characterizes the entire organization: lines of communication are short, the team is close-knit, and the care is personal. Residents are supported in small living groups, where safety, familiarity, and a fixed routine are central. The estate itself plays an important role in the day activities, featuring, among other things, an animal pasture, a sensory garden, swimming, horseback riding, and walking paths through the nature reserve.

As a Verzorgende IG at Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn, you support residents with a multiple intellectual disability with their daily care and personal grooming, such as washing, dressing, eating and drinking, moving around, and other recurring care moments. You work based on individual care plans and tailor your approach to the specific needs of each resident, both physically and in terms of communication and approach. You perform technical nursing procedures within your authority, such as tube feeding, medication administration, or skin care, and you identify changes in residents’ health or behavior. Within the residential group, you play an active role in maintaining order, calm, and safety. You also assist residents with daytime activities on the estate and contribute to a pleasant daily routine. You operate independently, collaborate closely with colleagues, and maintain contact with doctors, behavioral specialists, therapists, and other involved healthcare professionals to ensure care is well coordinated and continuity is guaranteed.

You have a command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, at least at level 2F/B1, You can provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) (costs will be reimbursed), You enjoy working with people with multiple intellectual disabilities and you show this in your work, You are permitted to work in the Netherlands, You are willing to work various shifts according to the schedule (short, long, and occasional night shifts), You hold an MBO-3 diploma as a verzorgende, an equivalent qualification, or a CIBG certificate, Relevant work experience and up-to-date practical knowledge is a plus.

The salary at Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn ranges from 2663,54 to 3592,96 (based on 36 hours, CAO VVT FWG 35). 8 percent holiday allowance and 8.3 percent end-of-year bonus.
