T.T.T. – Tierra, Techo, Trabajo APS is a social promotion association founded in Agrigento in February 2019 on the initiative of students and young professionals who have decided to commit their energies and skills to the economic, social and cultural development of Agrigento, focusing on its young people and on opening the city to the most virtuous influences coming from the rest of Europe.

Strongly rooted in the territory, T.T.T. promotes civic activism initiatives on a local scale and fights against all forms of discrimination for the defence of the rights of all people, also working on the creation of collaboration networks between institutions, businesses and non-profit organisations in order to increase the innovativeness and impact of its action.

The association’s main activities concern

1) social planning, i.e. the design and implementation of projects for the socio-cultural regeneration of degraded urban areas and the valorisation of the territory, non-formal and informal training, social inclusion, and active citizenship;
2) entrepreneurial training, with the provision of training courses and support services for aspiring entrepreneurs and new entrepreneurs
3) the activation of vocational traineeships abroad for young people from Agrigento and in Agrigento for young people from the rest of Europe, through collaboration with European companies, universities and vocational education and training institutes within the Erasmus+ programme.

The Association’s objectives, which are closely complementary, are:
1) to raise young people’s awareness of the most socially relevant issues in order to encourage their engagement in society and active participation in the democratic life of the city, nation and Europe;
2) to promote non-formal and informal learning and volunteering as a tool for personal and professional growth ;
3) to nurture and support young people’s spirit of initiative in the field of entrepreneurship and especially social impact entrepreneurship;
4) to help non-profit organisations get access to European funding and build a long-term sustainability strategy.
