Job Description

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING MANAGER

Are you a Fundraising expert with a heart for making a difference? 

As part of our growth strategy, we’re seeking a passionate and talented Community Fundraising Manager to drive community engagement and fundraising initiatives. 

 

In this role,  you will be leading a team responsible for the design, development and execution of online and offline fundraising campaigns, ensuring integration with overall fundraising activities, overseeing the organization’s merchandise and online shop, optimizing revenue generation and supporter engagement; manage and enhance the organization’s recurring donors program, focusing on donor acquisition and retention, collaborate with the team to design and implement personal fundraising activities, fostering individual donor connections and supervise community donor care activities to enhance donor relationships and support overall fundraising goals.

What we’re looking for : 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fundraising, Marketing, or equivalent field.
  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Community/Mass/Digital Fundraising and/or Donor Care, with a preference for digital campaign management experience (portfolio of successful fundraising campaigns managed is appreciated) .
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (C1-C2 levelS). 
  • Also knowledge of  another language between French and Spanish is considered an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in WordPress
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, storytelling and  the ability to convey the impact of our work through various means.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Canva knowledge is appreciated.
  • Strong teamwork, problem solving and proactive mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to social justice, with previous experience in mission-driven organizations is preferred.
